Dawn Concert – Ravello Festival

August 11, 2025 – 5:30 AM

From night to day, from darkness to light—every year, on the night of San Lorenzo, the ritual of Ravello’s Dawn Concert captivates and enchants. The highlight of the Ravello Festival, which in 2025 will mark its 73rd edition, never fails to live up to expectations, offering 300 fortunate spectators the unique thrill of music accompanying the birth of a new day.

The concert takes place on the panoramic belvedere of Villa Rufolo, the breathtaking villa whose gardens once enchanted Richard Wagner. On May 26, 1880, he found inspiration here for the setting of the second act of Parsifal, exclaiming, “I have found Klingsor’s magic garden.”

Performed by a world-class symphony orchestra, under the baton of a renowned conductor, the Dawn Concert is a moment of pure enchantment.

Tickets for this unique event are sold online, usually starting in June, through the Fondazione Ravello website, which organises the festival. It’s highly recommended to check the official site: https://ravellofestival.info/—as one of the most spectacular events on the Amalfi Coast, tickets tend to sell out in just a few hours.
