Third Weekend of September (21 settembre 2025)
A medieval village transformed into a breathtaking stage, where fireworks light up the night and the outlines of houses and windows glow with dazzling illuminations. The Burning of Torello, in the medieval hamlet of Ravello, is one of the unmissable events of September. Held on the third Sunday of the month, this spectacular celebration is part of the festivities in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows.
The entire village is illuminated, and at the heart of the evening, an extraordinary fireworks display begins, drawing crowds of spectators. The true star of the show is the medieval hamlet of Torello itself, which is adorned with cascading fireworks, creating the illusion of countless fiery blossoms enhancing the beauty of this little clifftop village overlooking the Amalfi Coast.
One of the best vantage points to experience the Burning of Torello is the square of the Niemeyer Auditorium, where you can capture the most breathtaking panoramic shots and videos.
